Job summary

Serpentini Auto Group in Westlake, OH, is seeking a Service Porter to move vehicles in the service area, keep the lot and cars clean, and assist with deliveries to customers after service.

You will support the service team by transporting vehicles, tagging inventory, and helping maintain a neat showroom and lot, with opportunities for advancement and a customer-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from work every day.
• Professional attitude and customer service mindset.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles to and from service lanes and lots as needed.
• Keep interior and exterior of vehicles clean and presentable.
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Replenish vehicle fluids and replace batteries when necessary.
• Maintain neat, orderly lots and assist with inventory.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
• Assist with miscellaneous daily tasks and service shop cleanliness.

Job Summary: The ServicePorter helps ensure complete customer satisfaction by moving vehicles in and around the service area/lot, maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles and the service area, delivering vehicles to customers after service is complete, and transporting customers to/from their home when needed.

Responsibilities

Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary

Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles

Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards

Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed

Make key tags for and handle inventory of vehicles

Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations

• Assist with any other miscellaneous tasks that need to be completed throughout the day
• Cleaning of the service shop and areas, ( taking out trash, tires, boxes, emptying oil drains)

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
