Job summary

Ocean Mazda Roswell is seeking a dependable Service Porter / Service Lot Attendant to support our Service Department in Roswell, GA.

You will greet customers, safely move and park vehicles, maintain an organized service drive, and assist Service Advisors, Technicians, and management with daily vehicle flows and care. Reliable, punctual teamwork is essential.

The position is full-time and outdoors, with opportunities for training and advancement within Ocean Automotive Group.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
• Comfortable driving and parking a variety of vehicles.
• Dealership or service-porter experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers arriving in the service drive in a courteous and professional manner.
• Safely move, park, and retrieve customer vehicles throughout the dealership.
• Maintain an organized and efficient flow of vehicles through the service drive and designated parking areas.
• Retrieve customer vehicles promptly when service is completed.
• Stage vehicles for Service Advisors and Technicians as needed.
• Transport vehicles between the service drive, shop, parking areas, detail area, and other designated locations.
• Assist with keeping the service drive clean, organized, and presentable.
• Maintain proper control and handling of customer vehicle keys.
• Assist with tagging and identifying vehicles when required.
• Fuel vehicles as directed.
• Transport vehicles to vendors, other dealership locations, or designated facilities when authorized.
• Assist with customer transportation or dealership errands when assigned.
• Check vehicles for obvious damage and report concerns to management.
• Protect customer vehicles and personal property while in the dealership's care.
• Support Service Advisors, Technicians, and Service Management with vehicle-related requests.
• Follow all dealership vehicle-handling, safety, and company procedures.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Service Management.

Ocean Mazda Roswell is seeking a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Service Porter / Service Lot Attendant to join our Service Department.

The Service Porter plays an important role in the customer experience by assisting with the movement, organization, and care of customer and dealership vehicles while supporting Service Advisors, Technicians, and Service Management with the daily flow of the department.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment.

• Support Service Advisors, Technicians, and Service Management with reasonable vehicle-related requests.
• Follow all dealership vehicle-handling, safety, and company procedures.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Service Management.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
• Must be comfortable safely driving and parking a variety of vehicles.
• Previous dealership, service porter, valet, automotive, or customer-service experience preferred but not required.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple vehicle movements throughout the day.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including prolonged walking and standing and frequent movement throughout the dealership property.
• Must be able to meet applicable pre-employment requirements.
