Job summary

Fred Beans Subaru is seeking a dedicated Service Porter to support daily operations in our service department at the Bucks County dealership. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, organization of the lot, and assisting in moving vehicles for service and display.

This entry level position offers a pathway into the automotive industry with company-funded training and benefits. Shifts start early in the day and run through the afternoon, Monday through Saturday, with no Sundays.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Basic automotive knowledge is preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day to day operations of the service department.
• Light cleaning duties.
• Sweep sidewalks, maintain lot debris, etc.
• Maintain proper display and appearance of used vehicles daily.
• Assist in getting used vehicles through Service and Detail and on the front line within 72 hours.
• Ensure vehicles are cleaned and arranged at Bid as needed.
• Run vehicles to Collision Centers, and detail as needed.

Fred Beans Subaru is currently hiring a full time service porter to assist in the maintenance and organization of our Subaru Dealership!

This position maintains cleanliness throughout the dealership on a daily basis and keeps the lot organized with general movement of vehicles/ customers to and from local sites.

What You'll Do

• Assist in day to day operations of the service department


• Light Cleaning Duties


• Sweep sidewalks, lot debris etc.


• Maintain proper display and appearance of used vehicles daily.


• Assist in getting used vehicles through Service and Detail and on the front line within 72 hours.


• Assure all vehicles are properly cleaned and arranged at Bid as needed.


• General duties include running vehicles to Collision Centers, and detail, etc.
