Job summary

Transdev North America in Augusta, GA is seeking a Service Porter to oversee daily operations and support service staff in safe, efficient vehicle handling. The role emphasizes customer service and safety.

Key duties include maintaining fleet cleanliness, moving vehicles, recording lot records, managing supplies, and general building upkeep. Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma, a valid license, and be able to work flexible shifts; DOT testing may apply.

  • Ability to learn and perfect maintenance skills
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

  • Move vehicles in building and lot, and deliver vehicles to Vendor locations and fuel & inspection stations

Transdev in Augusta, GA is seeking a Service Porter to provide operational oversight, day-to-day management, and assist service employees in safe daily operation. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Physical Requirements

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

  • Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
  • Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
