Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Bay Area, CA is seeking a lead or junior plumber to service, repair, and replace plumbing systems for our clients. You will wear floor savers, maintain a neat work area, test systems before leaving, and clearly explain services to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

Junior plumbers are training; leads operate their own truck; valid state certification is required; franchisees set pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Junior plumbers are training/apprentice level and typically do not operate their own truck.
• Lead/Master plumbers are senior level and typically operate their own truck.
• Licensing/certifications required by state of residence for each role.
• Franchise location is independently owned and operated; compensation/benefits set by the franchisee.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes company pricing forms on each call and explains services to customers.
• Maintains neat, clean work areas and uses floor protectors during service.
• Tests each aspect of the job before leaving to ensure proper operation.
• Explains services performed to customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintains a safety-conscious attitude on the job and while driving.
• Keeps inside and outside of vehicles clean at all times.

JOB SUMMARY

A lead or junior plumber serves the clients of the company by expertly servicing, repairing, and replacing plumbing systems.

JOB DUTIES

• Utilizes Straight Forward Pricing (including all company approved forms) correctly on each call
• Wears floor savers while in the client’s home and maintains a neat work area while performing a repair or scheduled service
• Tests each aspect of the job before leaving a home to make sure everything is working properly. Ensures the job was indeed completed correctly and eliminates unnecessary callbacks after the job is finished
• Explains each service performed to the client each time a maintenance or repair is completed. Ensures clients are 100% satisfied with all work
• Conveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving
• Maintains cleanliness inside and outside of vehicles at all times

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Junior Plumbers are considered training/apprentice level and typically do not operate their own truck
• Lead/Master Plumbers are considered senior level and typically operate their own truck
• Lead & Junior Plumbers must have applicable certifications and licensing required by their state of residence
• Each franchise location is independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
