Job Summary

Service Plumber

The service plumber will maintain and service all types of plumbing fixtures and components.

Pay Range: 30.00 to 40.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair broken pipe and clogged drains.
• Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of iron, steel, brass.
• Work on several pipe systems including water, steam, and waste.
• Repair water heaters, water tanks, garbage disposal units, and leaky faucets.
• Attain backflow certification.
• Operate a drain camera.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years of experience as a plumber mechanic in commercial or light industrial settings.
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to use power tools and equipment commonly used in the construction trade in a safe manner.
• Physical activities include standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders, walking and lifting up to 50 lbs.
