Job summary

Sila is seeking a Residential Service Plumber to perform on‑the‑road inspections, repairs, and installations. You will assess customers’ plumbing needs and propose upgrades based on findings.

Qualifications

• Residential service plumbing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive plumbing inspections for customers.
• Offer upgrade options based on inspection findings.
• Repair or replace broken drainage lines and fixtures.
• Locate and repair water supply leaks.
• Read blueprints to plan layouts.
• Cut, assemble, and install pipes with respect to existing infrastructure.
• Install and maintain water supply systems.
• Install waste disposal and sanitary systems.
• Install and service water heaters.

Residential Service Plumber

• Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets, etc.
• Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g., leaks).
• Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply systems.
• Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g., electrical wiring).
• Install and maintain water supply systems.
• Install waste disposal and sanitary systems.
• Install and service water treatment systems and water heaters.

Skills and Requirements

• Residential service plumbing experience.
• Experience with Service Titan is a plus.
• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Working knowledge of appliances.
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly and patient.
• Good physical condition and strength to work in awkward spaces.
• Ability to work on‑call as needed: Monday‑Friday 4:00 pm–9:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 7:30 am–9:00 pm; $200 for being on call plus overtime.
• Experience: Plumbing 3 years (required).
