Job summary

LG Electronics in Huntsville, AL is seeking a motivated entry-level Service Parts and Logistics Analyst to join our global network. You will collect and interpret logistics data, develop Excel models and dashboards, and deliver insights that drive cost efficiency, service excellence, and continuous improvement.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 0–3 years of experience; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 0–3 years of professional logistics/analytics experience.
• Experience with Excel data modeling and pivot tables.
• Exposure to SAP/Oracle ERP and logistics software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate logistics data including shipments and lead times.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based models and dashboards for cost analysis.
• Support network optimization through data inputs and basic modeling.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and present findings to stakeholders.
• Prepare concise slides and reports communicating insights to teams.
• Monitor KPIs such as freight spend and cost per shipment; identify trends.
• Develop forecast simulations to aid planning and decisions.
• Support ad-hoc analyses and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Opportunity:

LGEAI is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Service Parts and Logistics Analyst to join our team within a dynamic global network. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to apply analytical skills to real-world business challenges. In this position, you will collect and interpret logistics data, develop models and dashboards, and deliver insights that support cost efficiency, service excellence, and continuous operational improvement.

Sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Qualifications:

• Collect, clean, and validate logistics and transportation data, including shipments, freight rates, carrier performance, inventory levels, and lead times.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based models and dashboards to support cost analysis, route and mode evaluations, and scenario planning.
• Support network optimization initiatives such as SLA management, consolidation, and capacity planning by providing data inputs and basic modeling.
• Conduct root-cause analyses of service issues and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Prepare concise slide decks, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights to managers and operations teams.
• Monitor KPIs including freight spend, error rates, and cost per shipment, and identify trends or anomalies.
• Develop forecast simulations to support planning and decision-making.
• Support ad-hoc analyses and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain, business analytics, or consulting, with internships potentially counting toward experience.
• Exposure to import or domestic shipping operations is a plus.
• Some exposure to project management tools or methodologies is beneficial.
• Professional logistics certifications (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) or progress towards are preferred but not required.
• Solid working knowledge of Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables and basic data modeling.
• Basic understanding of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is beneficial.
• Awareness of logistics-specific software such as TMS or WMS is a plus.
