Job summary

Wild Well Control, a Superior Energy Services Company, seeks a field service technician to operate and support specialized well-control equipment both onshore and offshore. This role requires readiness for international travel and hands-on involvement with hot taps, gate valve units, and cutting equipment.

You will adhere to safety and operational procedures, complete required training, and assist in maintenance and reporting for each deployment.

Qualifications

• Recent practical experience with special services equipment (2-5 years) and/or 5 years experience with other industrial equipment.
• Excellent comprehension of mechanical operations and communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems under pressure.
• Commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the policies and procedures of the company.
• Pass all required Safety and Well Control required programs to be present on well site locations.
• Has completed all operational training requirements for the above work scenarios.
• Assist in disassembly and maintenance of service equipment at location upon return from job.
• Responsible to be available to respond and participate in all service supported job opportunities.
• Responsible to learn and fulfill all reporting requirements as concerns to the job itself, job related charges and database information for each application.
• Other duties as defined by Supervisor.

Summary

As part of the Unconventional Intervention Services team, this position is responsible for servicing and operating the following tools/services; including but not limited to, Hot Taps, Gate Valve Drilling Unit, mechanical cutting equipment and can be a team member on a Freeze job. International travel is required.
