PepsiCo Salem plant is hiring for forklift and loading roles. You will load/unload pallets and cases, select items per order, and safely operate a forklift after training. Expect fast-paced work with heavy lifting, constant movement, and exposure to temperature variations.

This role requires weekend availability, physical endurance, and adherence to safety standards. Pay is hourly, with on-the-job training provided to qualify for forklift operation.

Qualifications

• You are 18 years of age or older.
• You will work on weekends, holidays, and off shifts.
• Can lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Can stand and walk for extended periods.
• Can climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
• Willing to operate a forklift after training and certification.

Responsabilités

• Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers.
• Select appropriate cases according to order using required technology.
• Operate a forklift safely after training and certification.
• Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the truck floor.
• Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation tasks as required.

Minimum Qualifications

What You’ll Do

• Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers
• Pick appropriate cases according to order using required technology
• Safely operate a forklift after we provide training and you obtain certification
• Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer
• Maintain general housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required
