Job summary

Munters is seeking a Service Operations Manager for Data Center Technologies to lead HVAC field service teams across Dallas or Austin. You will oversee scheduling, dispatch, and performance metrics while managing budgets and vendor partnerships.

Travel up to 75% is required to support field operations and customer sites. The role demands 10+ years in HVAC service with 5+ years in supervision, plus strong budgeting and process-improvement skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HVAC service or related field experience.
• At least 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, service operations, and maintenance practices.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, operational metrics, and process improvement.
• Able to travel up to 75% and support emergency service escalations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop HVAC field service technicians, dispatchers, and support staff.
• Oversee daily service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, work orders, and resource planning.
• Build strong customer relationships and resolve escalated service issues.
• Monitor service performance, customer satisfaction, response times, equipment uptime, and profitability.
• Manage budgets, labor costs, service inventory, and operational reporting.
• Partner with third-party contractors and vendors to deliver high-quality service.
• Improve processes to increase efficiency, reduce response times, and enhance customer experience.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with policies and standards.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in HVAC service or a related field.
• At least 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, service operations, and maintenance practices.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage customer relationships, and resolve complex service issues.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, operational metrics, and process improvement.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, management, or a related field is preferred.
• HVAC certifications or licensures are highly desirable.
• Ability to travel up to 75% and support emergency service escalations as needed.
