Qualifications

  • Experience with ServiceNow, ITSM tools, and enterprise validation.
  • Experience testing federal systems, accessibility, or security-sensitive workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans, scripts, regression tests, integration tests, UAT support materials, and release validation checklists.
  • Validate ServiceNow workflows, forms, catalog items, integrations, reports, roles, permissions, notifications, and data behavior.
  • Document defects with clear reproduction steps, expected vs actual results, screenshots, evidence, and severity recommendations.
  • Coordinate with business analysts, developers, admins, product owners, and users to resolve defects and confirm acceptance criteria.

Koniag Advisory and Business Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a ServiceNow QA Analyst to support the Digital Workplace workforce by planning, executing, documenting, and validating testing for ServiceNow workflows, integrations, releases, and platform enhancements. Work will be performed at the client's facility or customer approved remote locations during Eastern Time core business hours.

The ServiceNow QA Analyst will support quality assurance across ServiceNow product teams by developing test strategies, test cases, evidence, and defect management practices.

Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, regression tests, integration tests, UAT support materials, and release validation checklists.
  • Validate ServiceNow workflows, forms, catalog items, integrations, reports, roles, permissions, notifications, and data behavior.
  • Document defects with clear reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, screenshots, evidence, and severity recommendations.
  • Support Automated Test Framework, regression suites, release readiness, and production validation where applicable.
  • Coordinate with business analysts, developers, admins, product owners, and users to resolve defects and confirm acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and release decisions.

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Quality Assurance, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in software testing, QA analysis, UAT coordination, or enterprise platform validation.
  • Experience testing workflow applications, ITSM tools, or ServiceNow solutions.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Automated Test Framework experience, ISTQB, ITIL, or comparable credential.
  • Experience testing federal systems, accessibility requirements, or security-sensitive workflows.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong manual testing, regression testing, defect documentation, requirements traceability, and release validation skills.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow modules, workflows, roles, forms, catalog items, reports, and integrations.
  • Ability to write testable scenarios from user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework, Jira, Xray, Zephyr, Selenium, or comparable test management tools.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 testing, performance testing, and integration testing practices.
