Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery is seeking a Service Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance on heavy equipment and to complete inspections per manuals. You will inspect brakes, hydraulic and electrical systems, diagnose issues, and perform light repairs as needed while documenting work and parts usage.
The ideal candidate has 1+ year of heavy equipment experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and is comfortable with early-morning shifts; CDL is a plus but not required.

As a Service Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing all preventive maintenance work and inspections, as per the training manual and checklist. In addition, you will need to perform light repairs on deficiencies found on the PM Inspection. This role demands a candidate who is skilled and well-versed in maintaining heavy equipment.
