Job summary

Broward Health Imperial Point in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a dedicated equipment technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain critical medical devices and systems during day shifts. The role requires reading diagrams, manuals, and blueprints and applying approved specifications to ensure reliable operation.

The ideal candidate has a tech/trade certification or equivalent education, plus at least one year of hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience reading diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and blueprints to diagnose issues.
• Ability to observe equipment in operation and disassemble/repair parts as needed.
• Capable of testing and confirming devices operate correctly after maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment and systems according to specs.
• Disassemble, repair or replace defective parts, and reassemble equipment.
• Ensure production machinery runs smoothly and quality standards are met.
