Job summary

Bosch Rexroth is seeking a Service Material Handler to receive, inspect, store, and ship materials, ensuring accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment. You will support SAP transactions, 5S standards, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with a diverse team.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong attention to detail, with comfortable use of forklifts and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to learn and operate equipment (forklift, pallet jack, hoist, crane).
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Read and decipher packing labels and PO numbers.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills; both verbal and written.
• Basic knowledge of personal computer.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store, and ship materials; support inventory control.
• Perform SAP transactions and adhere to 5S standards.
• Pick parts, pre-package orders, and pack/ship via UPS.
• Assemble parts kits per production requirements.
• Assist with periodic inventories and material flow improvements.

Job Description

The Service Material Handler is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and shipping materials while ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely order fulfillment. Supports inventory, SAP transactions, 5S standards, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

• Receive incoming shipments; open boxes, crates, and shipping containers
• Inspect freight for damage and accuracy, unpack and put away
• Pick parts and pre-package orders per customer requirements
• Pack and ship product via UPS system
• Assemble Parts Kits and package according to production requirements
• Perform tasks in SAP
• Assist with periodic inventories
• Adhere to and improve "5S" standards
• Assist with material flow continuous improvements to and from the campus
• Overtime as required; often with little notice
• Perform other essential and related duties as may be required

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent from an accredited school (ex. PA Dept of Education, FL Dept of Education, US Military).
• Ability to learn and operate equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, hoist, crane, etc.).
• Able to lift, carry and move up to approximately 50 pounds
• Read and decipher written instructions, packing labels, purchase orders, numbers, etc.
• Ability to handle multiple functions in an orderly, precise manner with little supervision
• High attention to detail
• Basic math skills such as: counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; both verbal and written
• Basic knowledge of personal computer
