Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Service Manager to lead the branch Roofing Service department and manage new and existing client relationships for repairs and maintenance on commercial buildings.

You will oversee the service team, grow the service business, coordinate field crews, and ensure quality, safety, and inventory controls while promoting Flynn’s brand.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience in Commercial Roofing, Service dept required.
• Strong management, delegation, planning and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong, positive relationships.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and drive to grow the business.
• Experienced in using MS Office and Bluebeam/AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Help grow and build our Roofing Service business.
• Manage and lead Service Team within branch.
• Build relationships/partnerships with customers/potential customers.
• Communicate with existing customers and explain Flynn Service opportunities.
• Regular follow-up on quotes.
• Scheduling, alignment and time management of field crews.
• Dispatch calls to field technicians with all necessary job information.
• Ensure Service inventory is appropriate.
• Monitor quality, safety and training requirements through regular site visits.
• Attend association, industry, and networking events.
• Plan and attend client meetings based on client interests.
• Promote Flynn’s brand & services via marketing and social channels.
• All other duties as role requires.

This key position will act as Division Manager for the Branch Service Department with new and existing clients (related to Roofing Repairs and Maintenance with Commercial Buildings). The Service Manager is a vital connection between our company and potential/existing clients.

Here’s what your days will look like as a Service Manager:

• Ability to conduct presentations virtually
