Responsabilidades

• Manages the repair and maintenance of company owned and customer equipment, including yard organization (Ready to Rent, Returned, Down).
• Prepares work schedules and handles service calls to meet customer needs and ensure equipment availability.
• Orders parts to maintain adequate supplies.
• Provides training and assistance to staff mechanics.
• Collaborates with equipment vendors to learn maintenance requirements for new inventory.
• Evaluates equipment after repairs, maintenance, or safety checks.
• Documents equipment status before and after rental.
• Handles customer complaints regarding equipment condition or operation.
• Promotes safety awareness and performs quality control checks.
• Updates, maintains, and keeps organized equipment service records.
• Creates, updates, closes, and bills work orders.
• Files warranty claims in a timely fashion.
• Commissions new equipment.
• Orders/returns parts and manages parts inventory.
• Disposes of solid and hazardous waste (batteries, used oil & filters, antifreeze, wash sludge).
• Generates reports: equipment due for service, fleet status, service records, open work orders, warranty summaries, inventory, parts details, financial/historical trends, service department financials, foreman performance, work order charges, and open PO reports.
• Performs other duties assigned by the manager.

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Service Manager. As a Service Manager, you will manage the servicing of company and customer equipment in a timely and effective manner.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages the repair and maintenance of company owned and customer equipment to include the organization of yard (Ready to Rent, Returned, Down)
• Prepares work schedules and handles service calls to meet customer needs and assure that equipment is available as required.
• Orders parts in order to maintain adequate supplies.
• Provides training and assistance to staff mechanics.
• Works with equipment vendors to learn the maintenance requirements and capabilities of new equipment added to inventory.
• Evaluates all equipment after repairs, maintenance or safety checks.
• Documents equipment status before and after rental.
• Handles customer complaints regarding equipment condition or operation.
• Promote safety awareness

• Update, maintain and keep organized equipment service records
• Create, update, close and bill work orders
• File warranty claims in a timely fashion

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Base Pay Range: $71,269.00 - 84,632.65

Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.

You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers team members the following paid time off from work, subject to Sunbelt’s policies (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement):
