Role Description

The Service Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Plano, TX, responsible for overseeing day-to-day service operations for pools and outdoor environments. This role coordinates service schedules, manages service technicians, and ensures timely completion of maintenance, repairs, and customer requests. The Service Manager communicates directly with clients, assesses service needs, provides recommendations, and follows up to ensure client satisfaction. Daily activities include monitoring work quality, managing inventory and equipment, invoicing, scheduling, and resolving operational issues within our service department. The role also collaborates with construction and design teams to support ongoing projects and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism.

Qualifications
  • Experience in service management or field operations, preferably in pool construction, maintenance, or a related outdoor environments industry.
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills, with the ability to manage multiple service projects and technician assignments simultaneously.
  • Effective client communication and relationship management skills, including the ability to explain technical issues in clear, accessible language.
  • Knowledge of pool systems, water features, and basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, or willingness to learn these systems quickly.
  • Proficiency with service management software, digital record-keeping, and basic office tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets).
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including coaching, performance feedback, and fostering a respectful, safety-focused team culture.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards aligned with a high-end design/build environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site around outdoor construction and service areas.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical, construction, or business education is beneficial.
  • Prior experience in the Dallas/Ft. Worth or North Texas market and familiarity with local regulations and safety practices is a plus.
