Job summary

Circle K in Tampa, FL seeks a versatile maintenance technician to support store operations with light electrical, plumbing and carpentry. You’ll perform painting, minor construction, shelving repairs and routine equipment maintenance across multiple sites.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years in A/C, refrigeration or general maintenance, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Valid driver's license required to travel between locations within the division.

Qualifications

• Perform light electrical, plumbing and carpentry to maintain facilities.
• Provide maintenance support across sites including painting, shelving and cabinet repairs.
• Maintain store equipment by troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate repairs by contacting service vendors for materials.
• Document and communicate actions and needs to ensure continuity among work teams.
• May participate in training for existing and new equipment.
• Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.

Job description

Essential Functions:

• Maintains Facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Provides general maintenance support to sites by painting, building/repairing structure, interiors, shelving, cabinets, etc., cleaning and other basic maintenance.
• Maintains store equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and performing preventive maintenance.
• Facilitates repairs by contacting service vendors for materials.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
• Will be required to participate in training for existing and new equipment.
• Will be required to participate in training for existing and new equipment.
• Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, able to use hand/electric cart, able to use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, able to use a ladder, and must be able to lift up 80 lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities and ability to work independently.
• 3-5 years experience in the A/C, Refrigeration or Genreal Maintenance field.
• Requires driving a company vehicle to different store locations throughout the division which include but are not limited to the geographic areas listed above.
