About the Opportunity

A growing, locally owned mobile service company with routes across central Mississippi is seeking an experienced service line Operations Manager to lead a team of field technicians and oversee day-to-day operations. This is a salaried leadership position for someone who takes ownership of outcomes — not just tasks.

What You’ll Do

• Enforce safety protocols and company policies in the field
• Oversee and manage a team of 5–6 field technicians across primary and secondary service territories
• Review completed jobs for quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards
• Train, coach, and hold technicians accountable to performance standards
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships; respond quickly to service issues
• Manage technician scheduling to maximize route efficiency and coverage
• Oversee preventive maintenance on all company mobile service equipment — methodically, not reactively
• Maintain complete service and maintenance records
• Monitor and manage parts/supply inventory; coordinate ordering
• Make sound operational decisions with limited supervision

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Mechanical aptitude — hands-on experience with engines, small equipment, vehicles, or similar mechanical systems
• Proven ability to lead and hold a team accountable
• Strong work ethic with a results-driven, ownership mentality
• Demonstrated customer service excellence
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record for past 3 years
• Proficiency with basic computer skills — email communication, Microsoft Word and/or Google Docs and Google Sheets

Preferred:

• Background in automotive, plumbing, HVAC, industrial maintenance, equipment maintenance, food service equipment, or similar trade
• Experience managing mobile or field service operations
• Prior route-based or multi-stop operations experience

Compensation: $58,240.00 - $72,800.00 per year
