Job summary

LinPepCo | Local Beverage Distributor in Alliance, NE, seeks a field technician to maintain and repair vending, fountain, ice and refrigeration equipment across customer accounts. You will install, relocate and service equipment to maximize customer satisfaction and sales.

The role includes preventative maintenance, record-keeping with handheld devices, and occasional weekend/on-call shifts. A valid driver's license and basic mechanical skills are required, with trade school training preferred.

Qualifications

• Trade school training in mechanical/refrigeration preferred.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of machines and tools; basic electrical knowledge.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to move large equipment with mechanical aids.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove and relocate vending and dispensing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair vending, fountain, coffee, ice and refrigeration equipment.
• Manage product and cash from vending machines.
• Maintain daily records using a handheld device.
• Complete daily handheld close-out procedures.
• Ensure service vehicle stocked with parts; restock as needed.
• Perform equipment installations as required.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections.
• Be available for weekends and on-call shifts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Summary: The purpose of this role is to maintain and repair all vending, fountain, coffee, ice and refrigeration
equipment to maximize customer satisfaction and sales. This role will also install, remove and relocate all vending,
fountain, coffee, ice and refrigeration equipment to maximize customer satisfaction. Perform preventative and quality
maintenance checks in addition to maintaining various records and reports.

Essential Job Functions

• Install, remove and relocate vending, fountain and all other dispensing equipment
• Diagnose and repair vending, fountain, coffee, ice and refrigeration equipment
• Account for product and cash from vending machines
• Maintain daily records, including time, mileage, parts usage, parts inventory using a handheld device
• Complete daily handheld close-out procedures
• Ensure the service vehicle is stocked with appropriate parts inventory and restock as needed
• Complete equipment installations as required
• Perform daily vehicle inspections
• Be available to work weekends and on-call shifts as assigned
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Working Environment

Work generally performed in customer accounts and may involve working in close, confined spaces, as well as occasional
