Job summary

Dave's Heating and Cooling in Indiana is seeking a dependable HVAC Service/Install Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems while delivering professional service and quality workmanship.

You will work on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, thermostats, and air quality products, following safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge including service, installation, or related trade.
• Relevant trade certifications or apprenticeship registrations.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace HVAC equipment including furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, and thermostats.
• Diagnose problems and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and seasonal tune-ups.
• Test and commission equipment to confirm proper operation.
• Explain findings and recommendations clearly to customers.
• Complete service records and installation documentation.

• Professional communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s licence and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the role, including moving equipment, using ladders, and working in confined spaces or varying weather conditions.
• Availability for occasional overtime or on-call work as required.
