Rogers Electric in Columbus, OH is seeking a skilled Service Foreman to join our team. You will assist the Project Manager, plan staffing, review bid documents, manage electricians, and ensure safety and quality on large electrical installations.

The ideal candidate has over 10 years as a commercial electrician and 3+ years as a foreman, can read blueprints, communicate professionally, and is willing to travel up to 90% including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a field electrician in commercial settings.
• 3+ years as a foreman overseeing large electrical projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Strong communication and safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with planning, organization, and staffing.
• Analyze bid documents and site conditions to outline scope.
• Identify risks and ensure costs are covered.
• Establish objectives, policies, and performance standards.
• Manage electricians, task assignments, and materials.
• Oversee crew labor, procurement, scheduling, and daily reports.
• Lead safety meetings and enforce PPE usage.
• Run conduit/wiring and install devices; perform QC testing.
• Conduct pre-bid surveys, kick-offs, progress walks, and turnover.
