Allison Transmission in Indianapolis is seeking a Service Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on exposure to transmissions, embedded control systems, and service network support while working with a mentor and cross-functional teams.

The internship emphasizes failure analysis, technical document creation, and development of tools and training materials. You will commit to a minimum of 10 weeks and participate in a variety of activities at our Global Headquarters.

Competenze

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Automotive, or related field.
• 2–3 years completed at an accredited college.
• Preferred GPA 3.0 in major.

Key learning and development areas include failure analysis, technical document construction, basic product design, transmission integration, and exposure to embedded control systems. Students will work closely with their assigned supervisor and complete a specific project during the assignment.
