Job summary

Rogers Electric in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a skilled Service Electrician to join our team. You’ll perform field electrical tasks, read blueprints, wire and terminate devices, and support store and facilities with routine maintenance and upgrades.

The role requires 5+ years of service/maintenance experience, travel willingness, nights, weekends and overtime, and safety commitment. We offer competitive weekly pay with night differential, paid travel, and a comprehensive benefits package plus

Qualifications

• 5+ years previous service/maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of installing electrical systems
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objects
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders
• Possession of reliable transportation and basic hand tools
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Must be willing to travel, work nights, weekends and overtime
• Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment

Responsibilities

• Manage the completion of various electrical tasks
• Troubleshooting electrical issues
• Electrical break and repair
• Read blueprints, run conduit, and wire/terminate devices
• Perform quality control testing and troubleshooting
• Manage service upgrades for our new and existing retail clients
• Interact with store/facilities managers and maintenance department personnel
