Job summary

Southern Home Services, a residential HVAC, plumbing and electrical company, is seeking a Service Electrician to join our team. You will diagnose, install, and repair electrical systems in homes, ensuring safety standards and code compliance while delivering top-notch customer service.

You will communicate options to homeowners, perform wiring tasks, and handle physical demands of field work. This non-exempt role offers regular pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

3–5 years of electrical experience, preferably in residential projects.
Excellent customer service and communication with homeowners.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environments.
Strong knowledge of safety standards and electrical codes.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems to identify issues.
Install, repair and maintain residential electrical systems.
Explain problems and options clearly to homeowners.
Climb ladders, work in tight spaces, and lift heavy objects.
Ensure all work complies with safety codes and regulations.
Perform basic wiring tasks and use electrical tools.
Handle additional duties as assigned.
