Job summary

The SACK COMPANY in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking Electricians to join our Electrical Service team. You will diagnose and repair commercial electrical systems, install control systems, and ensure safety and compliance.

This is an in-person, full-time role with benefits and overtime opportunities. We require a high school diploma or GED, at least two years in electrical work, and a Journeyman Electrical Certificate.

Responsibilities

Description of Tasks

• Diagnose and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair commercial electrical systems, ensuring safety and functionality.
• Install and Maintain: Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, lighting, and fixtures in commercial settings.
• System Maintenance: Perform inspections and corrective maintenance on circuit breakers, transformers, and electrical panels.
• Code Compliance: Follow national electrical codes and state/local regulations for all work.
• Documentation: Track repairs, installations, and maintenance in trade software
• Customer Engagement: Communicate with clients, explain issues, recommend solutions, and provide informed system performance advice.

Position Requirements

Education/Experience

• Minimum high school diploma/GED and two years of experience in the electrical field Certifications, Licenses, etc.:
• Journeyman Electrical Certificate

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation. Must have a good understanding of the National Electric Codes.
• High standard of integrity and professionalism. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations of workplace safety.
