MetroPower is hiring full-time electricians in Albany, GA to support industrial, commercial, healthcare, and federal projects. You will install, repair, and maintain electrical systems on varied job sites while following the National Electrical Code and safety practices.

Qualifications

• This position requires an electrical technician capable of performing all types of electrical installation work and strong problem-solving skills.
• Generator Knowledge Preferred
• 3 years of electrical installation experience preferred.
• Must have a desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute immediately.
• Positive safety attitude and personal integrity.
• Ability to self-start, display solid work ethic, and respect others.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test and physical.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Completion of electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
• High school education or GED required.
• Past leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves moderate manual labor.
• Travel to various construction sites is essential, exposing employee to outdoor elements, noise and the need to stand and walk.
• Must be able to safely operate equipment as required to perform electrical installations (ladders, lifts, hand and power tools, vehicles, etc.).
