Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a friendly Cashier to join our store team. You will provide excellent customer service and process transactions quickly at the point-of-sale, while keeping the food and beverage area clean and well stocked.

Responsibilities include prioritizing tasks, following safety guidelines, and building rapport with customers and coworkers. Flexible hours include nights, weekends and some holidays. We offer medical insurance, a 401(k) plan and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused cashier with the ability to serve guests quickly.
• Basic computer and POS knowledge preferred.
• Cash handling skills preferred.
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service.
• Serve each customer courteously, quickly and efficiently with a positive attitude.
• Process transactions on POS; maintain a clean, well-stocked food and beverage area; clean and stock merchandise.
• Prioritize work according to the store and management needs.
