Job summary

The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Bethel, Alaska seeks a Service Desk Technician responsible for ensuring proper computer operation so end users can complete business tasks. You will triage calls, prioritize, document, and resolve or escalate requests for all corporate hardware and software.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of desktop experience; A+ certification is preferred. On-site work with full-time hours and strong customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in general desktop experience with hardware and business applications such as word processing, databases, spreadsheets and operating systems preferred.
• Valid drivers license or equivalent. An A+ certification is preferred.
• Personal computer, personal cell phone, personal high-speed internet.
• A basic understanding of computer technology and terms such as operating systems, hardware, office automation applications, peripheral installations (printers, scanners, monitors, etc.).
• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
• This job has no on call responsibilities.

Serving the people of Southwestern Alaska, the Yukon-Kuskokwim Hospital is a 50-bed general acute care medical facility.
