Job summary

EY is seeking a capable FSO Technology Senior Analyst to join our US-based Service Delivery Center in Raleigh, with teams across San Antonio and Dallas. You will design, build, test, analyze, and deliver technology solutions for clients in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes full‑stack development, cloud-native architecture, DevOps, and Agile practices, with up to 30% travel. You will contribute across the project lifecycle to ensure robust, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 3 years of technology software development experience.
• Back-end experience with Java, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, Microservices, Serverless, and Cloud (AWS or Azure).
• Front-end development with React, Angular, or responsive design.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud-native/microservices architecture (IaaS, PaaS, containers).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with unit and integration testing; knowledge of TDD or BDD.
• Comfortable in Agile and TDD environments.

As an FSO Technology Senior Analyst, you’ll be based in our Service Delivery Center, which is made up of high-performing US-based colleagues who work closely with our experienced advisory professionals. You will design, build/configure, test, analyze, deliver and support Technology solutions for clients in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities

The goal is to support our clients to transform their business problems through engineering solutions. You will assist engagement teams through the analysis of specific business requirements, design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy distributed software applications. You will deliver high quality systems with focus on reliability and excellent customer experience. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.

Skills and attributes for success

• Prior fullstack software product development experience with a preferred understanding of DevOps and its supporting services and tools.
• Deliver engineering solutions through all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, engineering design, development, integration, and testing; based on a proven agile methodology.
• Demonstrate hands‑on technical capabilities in multiple programming languages.
• Effectively work with client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds fostering an innovative and inclusive work environment.
• Demonstrate understanding of current technology environment and industry trends and provide recommendations for engagement and client service issues.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in technology software development.
• Back‑end experience using modern technologies like Java, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, Microservices, Serverless, and Cloud technologies like AWS, or Azure.
• Front‑end development with modern frameworks and practices like React, Angular, or Responsive web design.
• Experience in designing, building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Hands‑on experience building applications/platforms with cloud native/Microservices architecture, including IaaS, PaaS, container deployment.
• Experience with modern collaborative development tools such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with testing frameworks and tools for unit and integration testing and knowledge of TDD or BDD software development techniques.
• Comfortable working in an Agile and TDD environment.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience with Akka/Scala.
• Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ.
• Experience with ElasticSearch.
• Experience with AngularJS/ReactJS.
• Experience with Hadoop/Spark/Flume.
• Experience with Mongo/Cassandra/Any NoSQL DB.

• Hybrid work model: both remote and in‑person; majority of time 40‑60% in person.
