Job summary

Trane Italia in Louisville, KY is hiring a Service Coordinator I to join our team. You will plan, coordinate, control, and direct activities of operational resources, ensuring service agreements and repair work are executed efficiently.

You will procure labor and materials within financial standards and maintain strong communication with Field Technicians and Service Managers. Daily responsibilities include dispatching resources, coordinating schedules, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• College or technical school degree or certificate plus related experience or training.
• High school diploma or GED with three years of related experience.
• Must have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable on the phone.
• Must be organized and able to multi-task and prioritize daily interruptions.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment; proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates service resources, dispatches and assigns team members to projects.
• Schedules personnel, materials, sub-contractors and equipment based on project needs, skills and availability.
• Communicates with Project Managers and HVAC Field Technician Supervisors to assign/dispatch Technicians.
• Coordinates operations with Parts Department and Acquisition as necessary.
• Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns and routing to staff; responds to special requests.
• Generates work orders, reviews project paperwork, and generates various reports.

What’s in it for you:

Trane in Louisville, KY is hiring a Service Coordinator I to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, controlling, and directing activities of operational resources. Ultimately, this individual will coordinate the execution of service agreements and repair work. This includes procuring the appropriate labor and materials for work completion within financial standards. Customer interaction, communicating with the Field Technicians, and coordinating job priorities with Service Managers will be an everyday occurrence.

What you will do:

• Coordinates service resources, dispatches and assigns team members to project.
• Schedules personnel, materials, sub-contractors and equipment based on project needs, skill sets, and availability.
• Interacts and communicates with all Project Managers and HVAC Field Technician Supervisorto assign/dispatch Controls Technicians and HVAC Technicians.
• Coordinates operations interaction with the Parts Department and Acquisition, as necessary.
• Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to the assigned staff, and responding to special requests.
• Generates work orders, reviews project paperwork, forwards project paperwork to Project Administrators, and generate various reports.

What you will bring:

• Certificate/degree from college or technical school with one (1) year related experience and/or training; or three (3) years of related experience and/or training with HS Diploma/GED.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
• Must have excellent Customer Service skills - need to be extremely comfortable and effective on the phone.
• Must be organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily interruptions.
• Strong attention to detail and enjoy working in fast paced environment.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
• Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls preferred.

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:

$41,641.66 - $58,344.99
