Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Service Coordinator to deliver world-class customer service and coordinate field activities. You will handle incoming service calls, respond promptly, and ensure Convergint remains the customers’ first choice for service.

You will coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, and customers, potentially leading a small team and contributing to a high-growth, values-driven culture. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years call center, dispatch, or administrative experience.
• Construction/automation industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer, respond to, and meet the needs of all incoming customer service calls in a professional, efficient, and timely manner.
• Coordinate service with technicians, subcontractors, and customers within the designated location.
• May act as a lead, coordinating the work of others (not a supervisor).

• Provide co-ordination of service with technicians, sub-contractors and customers within designated CTC location.
• May act as a lead, coordinating the work of others, but not a supervisor.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

• Exceptional telephone and personal customer service skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills.
• Strong financial knowledge and skills—ability to understand financials such as accounts receivable/payable, purchase orders, work orders, etc.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: 3-5 years call center, dispatch, or administrative experience

Preferred Experience: (but not required):

• Experience in construction industry, automation, or similar environment

The anticipated compensation of this position is $27 - $33 per hour.
