Job summary

Daikin Applied Davie, FL is seeking a Service Coordinator to schedule technicians, handle inquiries, track time, and coordinate startup activities. You will also invoice customers, assist AP/AR, and manage warranty orders while maintaining OSHA logs and ERP data entry.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, experience with HVAC technicians, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. This is an in-office position with relocation flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2-4+ years in a mechanical, electrical, or plumbing service field.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required to communicate with customers, coworkers, or vendors.
• Experience with HVAC Technicians and service tracking software preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch technicians for startups, repairs, warranty, and maintenance.
• Handle customer inquiries and route technical questions to the right resource.
• Track time and attendance for technicians.
• Coordinate startups and maintain customer communication on scheduling and progress.
• Invoice and bill customers; assist AP/AR processes.
• Coordinate warranty administration, parts orders, and shipments.
• Answer phones, greet customers, and maintain professional contact.
• Enter all data into the ERP system, including work orders and billing hours.
• Close out work orders timely and file related paperwork.

Location: Davie, FL - In-Office

Your Responsibilities:

• Work with Technician Supervisor and/or Operations, Service Center or District Manager in scheduling and dispatching of technicians for jobs (Startups/repairs, warranty, maintenance)
• Handle customer inquiries and routes questions of technical nature to the appropriate resource
• Tracking of time and attendance for technicians
• Coordinate job startups and maintain communication with the customer regarding scheduling for the startup and follow-up on jobs in progress/completed
• Invoice and bill customers
• Assist in performing local office AP/AR functions and follows up with customer to ensure that payment has been received
• Coordinate warranty administration process, parts orders, and track shipments
• Answer telephones and greet customers while maintaining professional and courteous customer contact
• Assist new hires in the completion of their new hire paperwork, complete employer required sections of forms (I-9) and ensure that it is sent to Human Resources on the new employee’s first day of employment
• Maintain OSHA logs
• Enter all information and maintain information into Enterprise Resource System.
• This includes work orders, new customer information, and technician hours for billing purposes
• Ensure timely close-out on all work orders and that all associated paperwork (P.O., etc.) is received and filed with the proper job
• Responsible for gathering local prevailing wage rate and completing sending hours worked by Technicians on those PW jobs to Human Resources
• Maintain filing for and office equipment (copier, telephone, fax, etc.)
• Provide initial notification of Workers Compensation claims to insurance carrier

Your Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED 2-4+ years of related experience in a mechanical, electrical, or plumbing service field
• Bachelor’s degree may be considered in lieu of work experience
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required for communicating with customers, coworkers, or vendors as part of essential job functions
• Experience working with HVAC Technicians (preferred)
• Experience with Astea and/or any other service tracking software
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

The typical hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $23.65 - $37.69 in Florida. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
