Job summary

Thermosystems, a Daikin group member, is seeking a Service Coordinator to work in Des Moines, IA. You will coordinate service work with internal and external customers and manage service work orders from scheduling to invoicing.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree and proven experience in service coordination, with strong Microsoft 365 skills and a customer‑focused mindset to ensure outstanding support and timely problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.

• Background using Microsoft 365 Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service work with internal and external customers.
• Troubleshoot issues and work with customers to achieve desired results.
• Communicate job status and requirements with customers regularly.
• Provide billing and collections support as part of financials.
• Manage all service work orders from start to finish including scheduling, parts ordering, subcontractor management, startup, warranty, close-out and invoicing.
• Maintain strong customer relationships by delivering best-in-class service and ensuring all service requirements are met.
• All other duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Work with both internal and external customers to coordinate service work.
• Demonstrate independent judgment by working with customers on issues regarding their service needed, finding ways to solve problems and/or troubleshoot to achieve the wanted result.
• Communicate with external customers on a regular basis about job status, operations, customers need, and more.
• Offer both billing and collects support which is an integral part of the company's financials.
• Manage all customer service repair work orders from start to finish including scheduling, tracking, ordering parts, subcontractor management, startup management, warranty management, close-out, and invoicing.
• Maintain great relationship with customers by providing best-in-class customer service and ensure all service requirements are met.
• All other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in service coordination.
• Must have background using Microsoft 365 Suite.

The typical hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $26.45 - $31.25 in Iowa. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
