Graybar in Wisconsin is seeking a Service Center Warehouse Material Handler - Inventory Control. You will receive, store, select, pack, and ship warehouse inventory using a Warehouse Management System. Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• 2+ years experience in a large warehouse.
• Experience with warehouse management systems preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy loads and work in varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Receive, store, pick, pack and ship inventory.
• Perform cycle counts and daily safety inspections.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse environment.

You will receive, store, select, pack, and ship warehouse inventory. Our Zone utilizes a Warehouse Management System so technology is required to perform this job. As an employee-owned company, our employees are key to our success and are given opportunities to learn and grow into higher level positions.In this role you will:Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push cartsReceive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system processSelect, pack and palletize shipmentsSort and pack less-than-truckload shipments, conduct cycle countsMaintain clean warehouse including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspectionsWhat you bring to the table:No fear of heightsPerform physical requirements in a warehouse environment including lifting various loads, cutting wire, climbing ladders and staying on the move in various temperatures, depending on the location; must pass pre-employment physical testingMinimum 18 years of age requiredGood attendance and work ethic2+ years experience preferredPrior large warehouse experience using a warehouse management system preferredWork Shift and Hours: Monday - Friday, 1:00pm - 10:00pmCompensation Details: The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $21.00 per hour depending on experience.Additional Information:Steel toed boots required.The Value of Graybar:At Graybar, we are known for our comprehensive benefits and our employee stock ownership plan!
