Stock Yards Bank & Trust is seeking a Service Associate I to join our Retail team in Norton Commons, Prospect, KY. The role involves handling face-to-face customer banking, processing transactions, and promoting bank products with a focus on exceptional service.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, prior cash handling and customer contact experience, and strong communication and teamwork skills. This position requires standing on the teller line and rotating Saturdays.

Hours: 4 days per week with schedule TBD,Saturdays by rotation

General Job Summary:

To complete face-to-face customer banking transactions, sell and cross-sell bank products and services, and provide exceptional customer service.

Organizational Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports the mission, vision and philosophy of the Bank. Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures.
• Supports all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Exemplify our 212 commitment to service
• Process deposits, withdrawals, cash checks and balance a cash drawer
• Cash checks following SYB check cashing policy
• Sell official checks
• Process and balance teller work through image capture
• Consultative Selling – Engaging customers and prospects to uncover needs and offer solutions
• Assist with beginning, end of day and other operational duties as needed
• Participate in weekly team meetings

Working Conditions: Work on teller line, which will require long periods of standing

Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
