Responsibilities

• Deliver and merchandise products to customer accounts accurately and safely.
• Provide continuous, courteous, and professional customer service to customers and store personnel.
• Complete deliveries in a timely manner and ensure billing accuracy.
• Support Service Representatives with all delivery needs including stocking and merchandising.
• Communicate effectively with the Service team and maintain good working relationships.

_Start your career with one of the largest beverage and beer distributors in the Southeast!_*Job Title: *Service Assistant (Delivery Helper)*Reports To: *Service Manager*FLSA Status: *Non-Exempt*Classification: *Full Time*Job Summary: *The Service Assistant will be responsible for riding along with the Service Representative (Delivery Driver) and accurately and safely delivering and merchandising products to customer accounts with a sense of urgency and faster-than-average work pace. *\\*This role is the entry level role to growth for obtaining your CDL A with SCP\\***Duties/Responsibilities:** Provides continuous, courteous, and professional customer service to customers, store personnel, and store customers.* Completes deliveries in a timely manner and ensures accuracy of billing to customers.* Support Service Representatives with all delivery needs including rotating, merchandising, stocking all products.* Follow the stores procedures to dispose of all empty cardboard cases and paper wrap.* Re-pack product as necessary.* Responsible to communicate in an effective and timely manner with Service team.* Responsible for working with others, building, and maintaining relationships.* Performs other duties assigned.*Position Requirements:** Exceptional customer service and satisfaction is a priority.* Ability to accurately complete all required paperwork, accounting and documentation.* Ability to solve practical problems.* Ability to work in a friendly manner as part of a team and to develop effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and their staff.* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.* Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.* Ability to be punctual in meeting route scheduling and attention to detail.* Ability to work a schedule Monday through Friday, that includes early morning start times.* Represents SCP’s commitment to excellence through PARTNERS values.* Punctual and dependable.*Minimum Qualifications:** High School graduate or GED.* Valid Driver's License*Physical Requirements:** Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.* Driving/Riding 30%* Walking, standing, reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, and twisting 70%*Note:* Job descriptions are not intended and should not be constructed to be exhaustive lists of all responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions associated with a job.
