Job summary

Lucid Motors in Coldwater, MI is seeking a Service Assistant to support the Service team with day-to-day operations, customer experience, vehicle movement, and shop support. You will coordinate vehicle logistics, arrange internal Lyft rides, assist with pre-delivery inspections, and help with parts delivery and vehicle washing.

A full-time schedule, including weekends, is expected. Safety, organization, and post-hire forklift and CPR training are required; growth opportunities exist within the

Qualifications

• Basic automotive knowledge is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work full-time including weekends.
• Valid driver’s license with no recent suspensions; youth drivers may have additional requirements.

The Role

The Service Assistant supports the Service team with day‑to‑day operations, customer experience, vehicle logistics, and shop support to ensure the service center runs smoothly.

What You'll Own

• Provide world‑class customer experience to Lucid clients with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Coordinate vehicle logistics, including pickups, drops, loaner transfers, body‑shop runs, charging, and other vehicle movement needs.
• Arrange internal Lyft rides for vehicle moves and support transportation coordination for the Service team.
• Assist with Pre‑Delivery Inspection preparation, vehicle handover, and check‑in processes.
• Provide technician and shop support for basic repairs and help service operations run efficiently.
• Support moving and staging vehicles, delivering parts, washing vehicles, and other tasks as needed.
• Maintain a safe, organized workplace, complete required post‑hire training, forklift certification, and CPR training.

What You Bring

Required

• 18 years of age or older.
• Basic automotive knowledge.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification and CPR training post‑hire.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work full‑time, including weekends or extended hours during busy periods.
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year.
• Drivers under 21 must have maintained a driver’s license for at least 3 years and complete Lucid training upon hire.

Preferred

• Prior automotive, service‑center, dealership, or vehicle‑operations experience.
• Experience in a customer‑facing or service‑oriented environment.
• Interest in developing a career within the automotive or electric‑vehicle industry.

Work Requirement

Critical onsite presence in daily service operations with flexible schedule to support vehicle movement, center activities, and weekend or extended hours during busy periods.
