Mosby Building Arts, Ltd. is seeking a SAM Remodeler to join our Kirkwood, MO team.

The role supports Project Managers and crews across residential remodeling projects, handling punch lists, and providing hands-on remodeling and general handyman work as needed. The successful candidate will bring5+ years of remodeling experience, strong blueprints reading, and the ability to manage multiple tasks on tight schedules while maintaining safety and client communication.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience in residential building and remodeling.
• Advanced remodeling skills across construction trades.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and scope of work.
• Excellent communication, organization, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple small assignments across jobs.
• Own tools and ability to stand, climb, and lift 75 lbs.
• Class E driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced remodeling and general handyman work.
• Complete punch lists accurately and efficiently.
• Float between jobs to support Project Managers and crews.
• Source, transport, and handle materials for tasks.
• Maintain clean, safe job sites and communicate with clients.
• Ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Provide support to the Project Manager as needed.

Title: SAM Remodeler

Reports To: Project Manager

Job Purpose:

To bring advanced remodeling skills, effective client communication, and strong craftsmanship to support the team where the need is greatest, including completing punch list items, performing handyman-level (SAM) work, and floating between job sites to assist Project Managers and crews as needed.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Perform advanced remodeling and general handyman (SAM) work as required.
• Complete punch list items accurately, efficiently, and to Mosby's quality standards.
• Float from job to job as needed to provide support to Project Managers and crews.
• Source, transport, and handle materials needed for assigned tasks across job sites.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Provide excellent communication to clients
• Ensure all assigned tasks are handled professionally and completed on schedule.
• Provide assistance and support on any task to Project Manager as needed.

Minimum requirements:

• 5 years minimum experience in residential building & remodeling

• Proven, advanced remodeling skills. Well rounded in all areas of construction

• Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and scope of work.
• Excellent communication, organization, and ability to work independently.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple small assignments across different jobs
• Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet and our CRM system preferred
• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Supply your own tools.
• Ability to stand, walk, work with your hands, climb ladders, and move 75 lbs. independently for extended periods of time
• Obtain and maintain class E driver’s license, reliable form of transportation, and current auto insurance
