Job summary

TBC Corporation is hiring full-time Delivery Drivers in Pflugerville, TX. You will deliver tires and automotive parts, operate company vehicles safely, and support inventory in the warehouse. This role offers competitive pay and a $1000 sign-on bonus, with opportunities for growth within a respected international company.

Applicants should meet the minimum experience requirements, maintain a clean driving record, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. DOT certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Safety 1st mentality is required.
• 1+ years of delivery experience or box truck experience preferred.
• 1+ years of no at-fault accidents and clean MVR.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for vehicle class.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a DOT certificate while operating NTW vehicle.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and occasionally more than 50 lbs.
• Complete Driver Vehicle Inspection reports as required by policy/DOT.
• Follow all Federal, State, and Local laws.
• Employment contingent on offer and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently per TBC policies.
• Pick, stage and load trucks as requested.
• Adhere to DOT hours-of-service regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of products and procedures.
• Deliver tires/equipment to customers following route plan.
• Handle COD payments when applicable as required.
• Maintain clean, safe vehicle/work area.
• Provide superior customer service in line with values.
• Wear provided uniform and follow company standards.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our Service and Delivery Drivers are responsible for delivering excellent service to our customers by delivering product in a professional and safe manner using company vehicles. Also assisting with the general maintenance and organization of inventory within the warehouse.

This full time Warehouse Delivery Driver position can lead to career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

In this friendly work environment you will be responsible for:

• Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies


• Pick, stage and load trucks as requested


• Understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements


• Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures


• Adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers


• Securely handle COD (cash or check) when applicable as required per company COD policy


• Maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area


• Maintain exception Customer Service based on our People Focused Values


• Come to work in a Clean and Laundered Uniform that is provided by NTW


• Operate various MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in a safe and efficient manner as needed


• Other duties as requested or needed

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience, box truck experience and/or delivery experience preferred


• 1+ years of no At-fault accidents,


• clean MVR


• Maintain a current driver’s license relevant to the types/classes of vehicles driven during company business


• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Certificate while operating an NTW vehicle


• Must be 21 years or older


• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively while bending and twisting and ability to occasionally lift more than 50lbs


• Complete Driver Vehicle Inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations


• Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws


• Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of all required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law.
