Job summary

TBC Corporation is hiring full-time Service and Delivery Drivers in New Berlin, WI. You will deliver products safely and professionally, stay in DOT compliance, and support warehouse functions as needed.

Starting pay ranges from $21.00 to $24.00 per hour, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus. 21+ years old, valid license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. Opportunities for growth exist within a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Safety-first mentality and ability to operate company vehicles safely.
• 1+ years delivery/box truck experience preferred.
• Maintain a clean driving record (MVR) and valid license.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to obtain DOT certification.
• Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and sometimes more.
• Complete required vehicle inspections per policy and DOT rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently per policy.
• Load, stage and deliver tires/equipment to customers.
• Adhere to DOT hours-of-service regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of products and procedures.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety; follow COD policy as required.
• Support with inventory and general warehouse tasks as needed.

Service and Delivery Drivers are responsible for delivering excellent service to our customers by delivering product in a professional and safe manner using company vehicles. Also assisting with the general maintenance and organization of inventory within the warehouse.

This full time Warehouse Delivery Driver position can lead to career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

In this friendly work environment you will be responsible for:

• Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies
• Pick, stage and load trucks as requested
• Understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
• Adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
• Securely handle COD (cash or check) when applicable as required per company COD policy
• Maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work areaMaintain exception Customer Service based on our People Focused Values
• Come to work in a Clean and Laundered Uniform that is provided by NTW
• Operate various MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in a safe and efficient manner as needed
• Other duties as requested or needed

Qualifications

• Safety 1st Mentality
• 1+ years of experience, box truck experience and/or delivery experience preferred
• 1+ years of no At-fault accidents,
• clean MVR
• Maintain a current driver’s license relevant to the types/classes of vehicles driven during company business
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Certificate while operating an NTW vehicle
• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively while bending and twisting and ability to occasionally lift more than 50lbs
• Complete Driver Vehicle Inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations
• Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws
• Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of all required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law.
