Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge customers and technicians in our state-of-the-art service departments. You will explain technician recommendations in clear terms, discuss maintenance needs, and spot opportunities to keep vehicles safe and customers loyal.

You will schedule and confirm appointments, assist customers through the service journey, and work with the team to ensure timely, transparent repair estimates and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet or exceed sales targets through consultative selling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for explaining recommendations clearly.
• Comfort with using technology and systems to manage appointments and estimates.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, confirm, and prepare appointments for customers.

• Greet customers and assess vehicle needs via walk-around, inspections, and test drives.

As a Service Advisor, you’ll be part of a nationwide team servicing 20,000 cars a day and building customer loyalty that spans generations. Along with your communication skills and automotive knowledge, you’ll utilize leading-edge technology to uncover selling opportunities that keep drivers safe in their vehicles.Position OverviewWorking in our state of the art service departments, the Service Advisor acts as the go-between for Service Technicians and customers. In this position, you’ll be able to get out from behind the desk and play an active role in the service lane.
