Job summary

fal is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for its Serverless platform in San Francisco. You will build core UI and backend APIs, delivering scalable, observable systems used by enterprise customers. You’ll own features end‑to‑end, collaborating with Product and Infrastructure, in a fast, low‑process environment.

The role emphasizes frontend/backend balance, performance work, and clean abstractions, with opportunities to shape a new product vertical at a rapidly scaling company.

Qualifications

• Strong experience across frontend and backend development.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, Python, Postgres and Next.js.
• Experience owning features end‑to‑end in production systems.
• Ability to context switch between UI, backend and performance work.
• Product‑minded engineer valuing clean abstractions and maintainability.
• Comfortable in a fast‑moving, low‑process environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core Serverless UI features (dashboards, logs, observability, configuration, usage).
• Design and implement backend APIs powering the Serverless product experience.
• Improve performance, reliability and scalability of customer‑facing systems.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure to align features with platform capabilities.
• Own features end‑to‑end from design through production and iteration.
