Job summary

Ikigai Hospitality Group Llc in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Server to join our restaurant team. As the face of the dining room, you will greet guests, answer menu questions, take orders, and serve food and drinks with a focus on hospitality.

The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior server experience and knowledge of wine or sake service are a plus. This is an on-site, full-time position with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Previous server experience is required.
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines (SERV-SAFE) preferred.
• Japanese cuisine experience is a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from customers.
• Answer questions about the menu and preparation.
• Provide accurate orders to the kitchen staff.
• Check with customers periodically during their meals to ensure satisfaction.
• Provide customers with checks and process payment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Suggest wine or sake pairings when appropriate.
