Job summary

Snowbird is seeking a friendly and professional Server for the winter season at Wildflower inside the Iron Blosam. You will welcome guests, take and deliver orders, and ensure timely service with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Shifts vary, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work during winter, with no employee housing provided. Snowbird offers great ski-related perks and a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent listening, speaking, and presentation skills are essential.
• Multitasking ability is a must.
• Strong organizational skills are required.
• Food Handler Permit and Alcohol Certification are preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Assist with setting tables to restaurant standards.
• Present menu and specials to each table.
• Deliver food to tables.
• Resolve guest concerns and questions.
• Review receipts and assist guests with transactions.
• Help other restaurant positions as needed.
• Communicate with other servers, restaurant managers, and kitchen staff.

TITLE: Server

LOCATION: Wildflower, located inside the Iron Blosam at Snowbird

STATUS: Seasonal (Winter Only)

SCHEDULE: Shifts vary, may be morning or late evening, weekends, holidays, depending on business levels. THIS POSITION WILL NOT START UNTIL LATE NOVEMBER OR EARLY DECEMBER.

• Must be able to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays.
• EMPLOYEE HOUSING IS NOT AVAILABLE.

SUMMARY

A Snowbird Server is expected to maintain Snowbird’s values by performing all required duties in a friendly and professional manner to guests and team members. A Server’s responsibility is attending to diners before, during, and after their meals by helping them place, receive, and pay for their orders. They also ensure the timely delivery of food and beverages by checking on their tables periodically throughout the service time.

WORK SCHEDULE

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Travel to Snowbird Resort
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Shifts may vary from early morning to late evening
• Work some weekends and holidays depending on business levels
• Stay overnight in case of road closures
