Job summary

Atria Senior Living - Grand Oaks is seeking a Server to join our dining team on site in Thousand Oaks, CA. You will set and clear tables, take dining orders, review menus with residents, assist with meal prep and events, and maintain a clean dining area while building positive relationships with residents and staff.

The position offers on-the-job training with paid work, and a supportive environment that promotes work‑life balance and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• No experience required for the Server role.
• On-the-job training provided; you’ll be paid while you train.

Responsibilities

• Set and clear tables and take residents’ dining orders.
• Review menus with residents and acquaint new residents with dining at Atria.
• Assist with preparation, delivery and cleanup of daily meals and events.
• Foster teamwork and positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
• Clean and sanitize dining room spaces and equipment.

What you will do as a Server

• Set and clear tables, take residents’ dining orders and provide the highest level of customer service.
• Review menus with residents and acquaint new residents with dining at Atria.
• Assist with the preparation, delivery and cleanup of daily meals, banquets and special events.
• Create a strong sense of teamwork with your colleagues and positive relationships with residents.
• Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers and equipment used in the dining room.

Salary Range

The wage range for this position is $16.90/hr - $20.28/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience
