Job summary

Integrated Real Estate Group, a family-owned company with 20 years of expertise in property development and senior living, is seeking a part-time Server/Waitstaff to join our dining team. You will set up dining areas, provide meal and table service to residents, guests, and staff, present menus, and relay orders to the kitchen while ensuring timely service.

You will use the POS system, maintain clean dining areas, and work weekends; excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent (GED accepted).
• Reads, writes, and speaks English and follows production sheets.
• Maintains required food handlers certifications.
• Previous dining hospitality experience preferred.
• Understands food measurements and interacts with active/senior adults.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide meal, dining, and table service to residents, guests, and staff.

Server / Waitstaff, Part Time

This person will be responsible for providing exceptional customer table service to residents, guests, and employees in the dining room. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for proper dining set-up and folding dining room linens.
• Responsible for providing meal, dining and table services to residents, guests and staff.
• Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service. Remains knowledgeable, able to inform diners, and answer questions about posted daily specials
• Writes order on check and makes sure the diners and Dining Room Supervisor each receive a copy. Properly utilizes the POS (full Count) system.
• Relays order to kitchen, serves beverages and courses from kitchen and/or buffet station. Paces course delivery and sequence according to established procedures so that diners receive food at the proper temperature and are able to enjoy each course in a relaxed manner.
• Serves water and other beverages. Ensures that beverages are refreshed throughout the meal service.
• Clears and resets counters and/or tables at conclusion of each course.
• Assists in keeping tables and chairs, floors, linens and serving stations clean, bussed and stocked.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent is required (GED is accepted).
• Possesses effective communication via the ability to read, write and speak English and follow production and preparation sheets is also required.
• Maintains required food handlers certifications.
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and/or full service active adult/senior living preferred.
• The candidate should understand food measurements and equivalents, and be willing to work and interact with active/senior adults.
• MUST be able to work weekends.
