Job summary

Trick Rider in Frisco is a premier supper club offering luxury dining, curated cocktails, and premium wines. The server will greet guests, take orders, and provide attentive, genuine service while upholding Omni Moments of Service standards.

You will coordinate with the culinary team on meal requirements, enter transactions in MICROS, handle payments, and help maintain clean, organized stations. Candidates should have at least one year of serving experience in a high-volume setting and strong

• Ability to input data accurately into MICROS and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Know the dining room and menus; greet guests with a smile.
• Take orders and offer food and beverage recommendations, including daily specials.
• Coordinate with culinary team on dietary needs and special requests.
• Record transactions and process payments in MICROS; maintain cash handling standards.
• Ensure tables are set and service areas are clean and organized.
• Provide courteous service and use guests' surnames when possible.

Job description

Trick Rider is a new age supper club serving luxury, curated food and tricked up cocktails, wines, and distilled spirits. It is experiential with swagger. A Frisco eatery like no other, featuring top shelf fin, shellfish and a stable of premium cut meats. Sit ringside at the chef's table or at the horseshoe bar. A performance playing homage to traditions with a modern twist.

The server will wait on tables promptly, courteously and to serve our guests with a genuine care.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of the dining room.
• Must have full familiarity with menus and beverage offerings.
• Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
• Take orders and answer questions/offer suggestions on both food and beverage menu selections, and daily specials.
• Communicate with culinary team regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests.
• Record transaction in MICROS system at time of order and adhere to cash handling standards.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage.
• Present accurate check to guest and process payment.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
• Process station set-up and break-down and complete all other side work duties as assigned.
• Ensure tables are set up properly, including polishing and cleaning glasses.
• Service to guests according to Omni Moments of Service Standards.
• Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests, using surnames when obtained.
• Clean, clear and reset service areas.
• Protect the hotel from liability with regard to over serving guests.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year serving experience, high volume sports/live entertainment bar experience preferred.
• Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC – or obtain upon hire.
• Developed knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer with experience selling and presenting specialty mixed cocktails.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management and co-workers.
• Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into MICROS.
• Ability to handle stressful situations, while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up on guest requests and needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service, service recovery and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Position requires frequent bending, reaching overhead, twisting, and consistent use of hands and arms.
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift in indoor/outdoor environments.
