Brothers Of Mercy Nursing and Rehab Center in Clarence, NY is seeking a versatile food service professional for full-time/part-time roles in our dining and kitchen areas. You will assemble trays, operate equipment, and help with dishwashing and sanitation to support resident meals and nourishment throughout the facility.

Role requires a team-oriented, dependable individual with attention to detail and a caring attitude. Age 16+; on-site location with varied shifts (day/evening).

Qualifications

• Previous food service or dietary aide experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Dependable, positive, and caring attitude.
• Minimum age requirement of 16.

Responsibilities

• Assemble resident meal trays accurately using menus and tray cards.
• Operate kitchen equipment including dish machine, steam tables, coffee/juice machines, and more.
• Perform dishwashing, pots and pans cleaning, and general sanitation duties.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors, clean counters, racks, carts, and equipment.
• Transport food and supplies to various areas of the facility.
• Prepare and deliver nourishments to nursing units.
• Assist with cafeteria meal service, including serving food and operating the cash register.
• Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect residents’ rights and personal property.
